The Title: That's not what a centrist is. A centrist holds political beliefs in between liberal and conservative. A centrist is not, as the cartoonist would have you believe, some sort of political schizophrenic.
Panel 1: The First Amendment guarantees the right to free speech for everyone. Even racists. Even Nazis. End of story. Forgive me if I don't trust a country that puts Donald Trump into office to responsibly regulate my right to free speech. This also makes it look like anyone who defends free speech is also defending Hitler. HITLER KILLED SIX MILLION JEWS. Last I heard, genocide is not covered by free speech.
Panel 2: like it or not, that's how things work. Half the country disagrees with the policies you want to enact. You can either compromise and achieve half-measures (like every single damn law ever passed in the United States) or you can institute Thought Crime and start rounding up dissidents. No, it's not fair. But progress has always been slow. Remember, it took twelve years and three Presidents to get from desegregation to the Voting Rights Act.
Panel 3: I'll remember this one the next time the cartoonist wants to intervene in Syria, or rescue victims of Boko Haram, or walk up and beat the crap out of Vladimir Putin. In fact, why don't you go around saying we shouldn't get into any violent conflicts to the folks whose ancestors lived through the Holocaust. Or slavery.
E. Panel 4: Still not what a centrist is. Not to mention, who's supposed to be in charge of that guillotine? If this panel were on its own, I'd say that it was a cutting critique of low voter turnout in the US. But in context, it sure looks like the cartoonist is calling for the public execution of non-voters.
Cartoonists: don't drunk-dial, and don't angry-draw. Whatever comes out only ever makes you look like a petulent douche.
